Absolutely admiring Mount Fuji in Japan from afar! Such a beautiful sight to seeeee!

Mount Fuji is 3776 meters tall, making it Japan’s highest mountain. Mount Fuji has been worshiped as a sacred mountain and heralded by numerous people throughout the centuries.  Mount Fuji is an active volcano, but the last time it erupted was the year 1707. It stands on the border between Yamanashi and Shizuoka Prefectures, and on a clear day it can be seen from Tokyo and Yokohama. Besides on foot, you can see Mount Fuji from the train on a trip from Tokyo to Osaka.  You can climb Mount Fuji in July and August, and at the foot of the mountain there’s Fuji Five Lake and a hot spring resort named “Hakone”.
