Aaaaah, breathing in the fresh air at St. Stephen’s Green in Dublin, Ireland for Around the World with Gummibär!
St. Stephen’s Green in Dublin City is a Victorian public park, with sidewalks canopied by trees, shrubberies, beautiful flowers, herbaceous borders, cool rock formations, and a beautiful lake! There’s even a garden for the visually impaired. On rainy days, visitors can still enjoy St. Stephen’s Green from the Victorian lakeside shelter or in the Victorian Swiss shelters in the center of the park. Over 3.5km of pathways are accessible for all users throughout the park. St. Stephen’s Green features a waterfall and Pulham rock work on the western side of the green and an ornamental lake which provides a home for waterfowl. A number of interesting sculptures are located throughout the green. A children’s playground is also available in the park. During the summer, there are concerts played in the afternoon around lunchtime in St. Stephen’s Green. Click here to read more!
