    Sadly, my daughter and I spent the first few weeks of summer vacation taking care of my grandmother. The next few weeks were spent mourning her passing. Needless to say, our summer has sucked so far :(

    I spent my summer vacation trying to make the beat of it last. Went to two amusement parks and even a concert. Lots of trips to the local park as well.

    I would love to take the family to various points of historic interest around the United States, for example the Smithsonian Institute,Grand Canyon,Rock and Roll Hall of Fame,to name a few there are just so many places to see in my country that would be fun to discover.

    We haven’t taken our summer vacation yet – we’re going to Wisconsin Dells in a couple weeks to hit Noah’s Ark and the Duck Boat Tour. This is the first trip to the Dells for our grandkids and I don’t know who’s more excited, them or me!

    So far we’ve gone to the beach, the Olympic Mountains and a road trip along the Oregon Pacific Coast Highway. We are going to go to a water park later this month as well as the fair.

    We spent most of our summer around our beautiful state. We went to the zoo a few times, camping, swimming, rafting, a rodeo, parades and tonight our first monster truck show. We try to give our daughter fun even if we can’t afford a fancy vacation.

    We staycationed this year. We went swimming a lot in the yard, went on a food tasting tour downtown and went to an amusement park. Hopefully we can get away sometime soon though!

    Well, it’s not over yet but we’ve done a bunch of mini vacations. We’ve explored our local beauty here in Washington. It’s a beautiful state.
    We’ve been to the ocean, up to the mountains and visited the rain forest. We just got done touring the Bonneville Dam this past weekend.

    Hi,
    My nephew is 6 and is autistic and he spent this summer mostly in school but when he is off he spends it watching gummibear music videos on his kindle. If we could afford it, we would take all 5 of my nephews and my son and daughter to walt Disney World. Thank you!
