WOWZIE WOOZIE! Well this is the biggest gate I’ve ever seen! It’s the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, Germany!

The Brandenburg Gate is one of Berlin’s most important monuments – a landmark and symbol all in one with over two hundred years of history. The Brandenburg Gate was erected between 1788 and 1791, and was opened in August 1791. There are five walkways through the gate. The overall structure of the Gate really is something to admire. After being built, it was topped with a five-meter high sculpture that embodies the goddess of victory, which directs a Quadriga (a four-horse drawn carriage) in the city. Langhan built the monument to stand 26 m high and 65 m wide, with six Doric columns measuring 15 m in height. As former symbol of a divided state, Brandenburg Gate draws visitors from far and wide.
